Pretty Neutral Wedding in Las Vegas

Kym and Paul were married at a Las Vegas botanical garden. Her bridesmaids wore cream, pink, and mauve dresses dresses from Lulu’s and BirdyGrey. Paul’s groomsmen were in all black. Their head table were fulled with candles, lanterns, and lush flowers with their last name hanging in the green backdrop behind them. Their desert table featured a fun donut wall. Oh and they had the cutest “Wifey and Honey” name tags that were placed around the wedding that we’ve ever seen. Love it!

How did you meet?

Through work at Tao Nightclub. He is a bartender and I’m a cocktail waitress

What is your proposal story?

We went on a hike at redrock where he proposed at the top of a hill overlooking vegas. He read a poem to me & got down on one knee and ask the infamous question “will you marry me?” Of course I said yes!! As we walked down the hill heading back to our car I hear “CONGRATULATIONS!” From all my friends and family he had gathered. What made that extra special was my mom flying into town just to be there.

Tell us a little a bit about your wedding.

I wanted something rustic chic. We love the outdoors so we wanted some place that was outside and had greenery. And that place was Springs Preserve the ceremony location was like a fairytale! I knew I wanted neutral earthy colors for the elegancy (Blush, soft pink, dusty rose, whites)

Tell us about your attire choices.

Modern but classic. My dress was ines do santo, fit and flare. Having an open back with some lace was exactly what I wanted. I felt elegant but sexy!

My husband wore an all black suit with just a touch of GQ. Calvin Klein did him right!

What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?

I spent countless hours searching for the right photographer & videographer no matter the price. Because those photos/videos last forever and it’s something we will be able to look back on. We didn’t really skip anything because I wanted our perfect wedding.

What were your favorite parts of the day?

Everything! From putting on my dress to doing our first look. Our vows, our amazing first dance to getting completely hammered with our family and closest friends. When taking one to many tequila shots and singing duets on the mic and my husband and groomsmen dancing to Nsyc “bye bye bye”. Our wedding was a lot of fun!

Tell us about your wedding flowers.

My florist killed it! Spot on with the colors(blush, dusty rose, whites and greens like eucalyptus. I’m not exactly sure what types of flowers she used but all I know is the arbor was absolutely stunning as was my bouquet.

Tell us about your wedding cake.

Made by cake azure

She was on cakes wars and a couple other baking shows.

Partial naked cake with real flowers as decorations. We had two flavors:

Vanilla bean cake with fresh strawberries and Bavarian custard.

Vanilla bean cake with cookies and cream filling

What did you do for favors?

We had wood cut outs of everyone’s name as placements at the tables

Sandals for the girls. With tags that said “solemates” so the girls could take of their heels and continue to boogie!

Please describe any DIY, handmade, or personal details.
